The BuzziTent is an architectural ceiling element for acoustic calm. 

Tents invoke an inherent sense of shelter, encouraging people to slow down and relax. Designed by Alain Gilles, BuzziTent captures that feeling in a high-performance PET felt acoustic panel suspended from a central architectural ridge. 

Inspired by the French guinguette, those breezy, open-air cafés where a simple structure defines the atmosphere, BuzziTent brings organic warmth and acoustic comfort to the modern workspace.

BuzziTent is a high-performance suspended acoustic ceiling element inspired by the rhythm and shelter of open-air tent structures. Engineered for superior mid-to-high frequency absorption, it creates quieter, calmer interiors while maintaining openness and architectural lightness. Crafted from 60% recycled PET felt and designed to be 100% recyclable, BuzziTent balances acoustic performance with a strong commitment to circular design.

Maintenance: For dust removal light vacuuming with a soft nozzle is recommended on a regular basis. For stain removal, patch test
on a concealed section first. Spot clean according to the industry standards.

Components:

  • BuzziTent Acoustic Panel in PET Felt
  • Deco Ridge: Adds a refined metal accent to the acoustic panel. Distance between the ridge and the acoustic panel is adjustable.
  • Ridge Connector: This 30cm device allows the linking of multiple BuzziTents (Deco Ridge or Light variants) to create a continuous configuration.
